THE COURT, having been notified by counsel that the above-entitled action has been settled on or about March 23, 2016; IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that this action is hereby removed from this Court's active caseload until further application by the parties or order of this Court. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that counsel shall file a proper stipulation for dismissal or a joint rep ort detailing settlement status within 30 days and every quarter thereafter until a stipulation for dismissal is filed. This Court retains full jurisdiction over this action and this Order shall not prejudice any party to this action. All dates in this action are hereby VACATED. IT IS SO ORDERED. Case Terminated. July 14, 2015 Opinion or Order Filing 24 MINUTES (IN CHAMBERS) by Judge Christina A. Snyder: The Court GRANTS in part and DENIES in part defendants' motion to dismiss. Specifically, the Court GRANTS defendants' motion to dismiss plaintiff's Title VI claim, insofar as it is a sserted against Wooding. The Court DENIES the motion to dismiss the Title VI claim, insofar as it is asserted against CSUF. The Court GRANTS defendants' motion to dismiss plaintiff's section 1981 claim, insofar as it is asserted against C SUF. However, the Court DENIES the motion to dismiss the section 1981 claim, insofar as is asserted against Wooding. Lastly, the Court DENIES the motion to dismiss plaintiff's section 1983 claim asserted against Wooding, and DENIES the request to strike plaintiff's claim for punitive damages against Wooding.
