April 4, 2016 Opinion or Order Filing 40 MINUTES (IN CHAMBERS) ORDER Vacating Trial and Pretrial Dates and Ordering Parties to a Settlement Conference Before Magistrate Judge by Judge Cormac J. Carney. This case was removed from the Orange County Superior Court on January 27, 2015. Trial is currently scheduled for April 19, 2016. The Court issued a scheduling order on April 23, 2015 #12 giving the parties until February 9, 2016 to conduct settlement proceedings. To this date, the Court has no record that the parties have made any efforts to resolve this matter prior to trial. Accordingly, the Court VACATES the April 19, 2016 trial date and the April 11, 2016 pretrial conference and orders the parties to participate in a settlement conference before Magistrate Judge McCormick. The parties are directed to contact Magistrate Judge McCormick's CRD within the next seven days in order to find a mutually convenient time for the settlement conference.
