Music v. United States et al
Wage earner sues the IRS over the agency's levy on unpaid federal income taxes. Plaintiff contends that she does not have to pay taxes, alleging as a defense:
"I did not sign, nor [sic] agree, or have any knowledge of these 1040 forms. I made no promise to the Internal Revenue Service that I would pay taxes on my salary..."Plaintiff also alleges that she told her employer that she "had no W-4 contract allowing them to send money to the Internal Revenue Service."
