Opinion and Order Signed by the Honorable Joan H. Lefkow on 9/30/2014: For the reasons stated in the Opinion and Order, the court denies defendants' motion for summary judgment 161 . Central States' motion to strike 176 is granted, an d Central States' motion for summary judgment 148 is granted as to liability against both Lewis and Lashgari in an amount to be determined. The total amount that Central States may recover shall not exceed the amount of medical expenses paid in relation to the injuries that Lewis sustained in the 2008 accident ("the Accident-Related Medical Expenses"). Central States and Lewis are ordered to exchange documents regarding the purpose of the medical treatment she received between October 8, 2008 and April 5, 2011 for which Central States requests reimbursement, and take depositions, if necessary. If there is a disagreement on the amount of Accident-Related Medical Expenses, the court will hold an evidentiary hearing on November 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. David T.
