Neither Plaintiff nor substitute counsel appears despite the Courts 6/13/2012 order #37 warning Plaintiff of sanctions up to and including dismissal for want of prosecution in the event of nonappearance.In view of that warning, which was mailed to Plaintiff by the Clerk of the Court at Plaintiff's last known address, Defendant's motion to dismiss for want of prosecution #31 is granted. See Harrington v. City of Chicago, 433 F.3d. 542, 549-50 (7th Cir. 2006) (explaining that (1) district courts should not dismiss a case on failure to prosecute grounds without first issuing a warning; (2) district courts need not repeat their dismissal warnings, and (3) the district court was on solid ground in dismissing a case for failure to appear at court date following issuance of dismissal warning); Davis v. June 13, 2012 Filing 37 MINUTE entry before Honorable Robert M. Dow, Jr:Status hearing held on 6/13/2012. Pro se Plaintiff fails to appear. Status hearing continued to 7/12/2012 at 9:00 A.M. Plaintiff Renfro is directed to appear in person or through substitute counsel in Courtroom 1919.
