Filing 23 STIPULATION of Dismissal (Currie, Peter) |
Filing 22 MINUTE entry before the Honorable Edmond E. Chang: Status hearing held. Counsel reported that they are engaging in settlement discussions and believe the parties might be able to resolve the case without a settlement referral. The Court continues to encourage the parties to keep the momentum going and promptly bring the negotiations to a resolution. As the parties can tell, the fact discovery will not even close until mid-June 2015, so this litigation has the potential to be drawn out if the parties do not seize this moment to arrive at a reasonable resolution. If needed, the parties may jointly call the courtroom deputy and request that the Court enter a referral to the magistrate judge for a settlement conference or to schedule a settlement conference with the Court. Status hearing set for 02/18/2015 at 8:30 a.m. Emailed notice (slb, ) |
