ORDER - The petitioner filed both a petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 2254 and an application to proceed in forma pauperis on July 22, 2022. The petition and application are deficient for the following reasons: The petitioner has not signed his habeas petition. The petitioner must sign the enclosed copy of the petition and return it to the Clerk of Court. Although the petitioner filed an application to proceed in forma pauperis, he did not attach a certified copy of his jail or prison account statements for the last six months. For this reason, it is ORDERED that the application to proceed in forma pauperis (Doc. #2 ) is DENIED. The petitioner must correct this deficiency within 30 days.
