October 13, 2015 Opinion or Order Filing 4 ORDER: It is Ordered that respondent, Maher Awar, show cause inwriting why he should not be compelled to obey and comply with the IRS summonsserved on him by Revenue Officer Glenn Nitchals within thirty (30) days of this Orderbeing served upon Dr. Awar or his attorney, if Dr. Awars attorney agrees to acceptservice on his behalf; a copy of this Order, together with a copy of the Petition and its exhibits, shall be served upon Dr. Awar in accordance with Rule 4 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure within thirty (30) days of the date that this Order is served upon counsel for the United States. Alternatively, documents may be served upon Dr. Awar's attorney within the same time period, if Dr. Awar's attorney agrees to accept service on his behalf. Pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4.1(a), the Court hereby appoints Revenue Officer Nitchals, or any other person designated by the IRS, to effect service in this case. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Dr. Awar's failure to comply with this Order may subject him to sanctions for contempt of court. See document for further details.
