No. 52): For the foregoing reasons, the Court GRANTS IN PART AND DENIES IN PART Plaintiffs' Motion for an Order Approving Compromise of Pending Action. Having reduced attorneys' fees by $1030, the Court orders that the excess shall be divided equally between the three plaintiffs and added to the proposed settlement figures specified in the Settlement Agreement, yielding total awards as follow: Pamela Brooks: $48,343.33, C.B.: $30,343.34, Keziah Brooks: $10,421.68, Attorneys' Fees and Costs: $65,641.65. As noted above, C.B.'s award must be deposited in a blocked, interest-bearing bank account to which only C.B. will have access upon submission of proof that he has reached the age of eighteen. The parties are instructed to lodge a proposed order attached to a Notice of Lodging (L.R. 5-4.4.1) containing account numbers and the date on which C.B. will turn eighteen, in accordance with Local Rule 17-1.5, Local Rule 17-1.6, and California Probate Code 3611, et seq. concerning disbursement of funds to minors.
