October 1, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 21 ORDER RE MOTION TO REMAND BRIEFING #17 by Judge Dolly M. Gee. The hereby ORDERS that: 1. There are currently multiple cases pending before this Court related to the Bobcat Fire, including 2:21-cv-05132, 2:21-cv-05178, 2:21-cv-05324, 2:21-cv-05929, 2:21-cv-07199; 2:21-cv-07204; and 2:21-cv-07443 (collectively, the "Bobcat Fire Cases"). 2. All arguments advanced in the briefing by any Party in relation to Plaintiffs' Motion to Remand in Am. Fam. Connect Property and Casualty Insurance Co., et al v. Southern California Edison, et al., Case No. 2:21-cv-05132, are deemed to be made in the other Bobcat Fire Cases. 3. Each Plaintiff or group of Plaintiffs in any other Bobcat Fire Case who wishes to seek remand shall file a notice indicating joinder in the Motion to Remand filed in Am. Fam. Connect. That notice shall stand as the Motion to Remand in that action. 4. Defendants shall similarly file a notice of joinder in the arguments made in the Opposition to Motion to Remand in Am. Fam. Connect. in each case in which remand is sought. That notice shall stand as the Opposition to Remand in that action. 5. To the extent that any Party in any of the other Bobcat Fire Cases wishes to file additional briefing as to that case, that Party may do so, but shall limit any opening or opposition brief to no more than 5 pages, and shall limit any reply briefs to no more than 3 pages. Any new argument shall be specific to the facts of that case and shall be filed within one week of the date of this Order. (lom)
