MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS - ORDER by Judge Percy Anderson: The parties have notified this Court that the parties have reached a settlement, but that the terms have not been completed, namely the surrender of the Subject Vehicle and the payment of the settlement funds, and that the parties are continuing to negotiate the payment of attorneys' fees and costs. The parties have asked the Court to retain jurisdiction to enforce the settlement. Accordingly, this action is dismissed without prejudice and administratively closed subject to the following conditions: The parties have 21 days from the date of this order to complete the terms of the settlement, surrender the subject vehicle, and pay the settlement funds to plaintiff. The parties shall, no later than December 23, 2024, file either a Notice of Dismissal with Prejudice, if they have completed the terms of the settlement and reached an agreement on the amount of attorneys' fees and costs, or file a Motion for Attorneys' Fees and Costs. Subject to the foregoing, the clerk is ordered to administratively close this action and to enter an order dismissing this action without prejudice. (see document for further details) (bm)
