November 30, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 9 ORDER (Clerk) The appellant has two separate appeals in this Court: No. 21-2421, which relates to his conviction for simple assault and harassment, and No. 21-3084, which relates to his conviction for perjury, criminal solicitation of perjury, and intimidation of a witness. The appellants letters claim to relate to both appeals, so they will be placed on both dockets. Going forward, the appellants filings should distinguish between these separate appeals. No action will be taken on the letters in No. 21-2421. In that appeal, the Court denied a certificate of appealability on November 22, 2021. Except for the possibility of seeking rehearing under Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure 35 and 40, the Courts order concluded appeal No. 21-2421. In appeal No. 21-3084, the Court has not yet decided whether to issue a certificate of appealability. The Court may consider the appellants letters when making that decision. But that decision will be made only if the appellant pays the required fee or is granted permission to proceed in forma pauperis. If the appellant does not pay the fee or file a complete motion to proceed in forma pauperis, appeal No. 21-3084 may be dismissed without further notice. (SB) [Entered: 11/30/2021 11:32 AM]
