Filing 9 ORDER re: Plaintiff's Motion of Inquiry into PLRA Memorandum, filed on 08/11/2020, by the pro se Appellant. A review of the court's docket indicates that this appeal is subject to the Prison Litigation Reform Act and therefore all proceedings will remain suspended until the appellant's fee status has been resolved. See Newlin v. Helman, 123 F.3d 429, 434 (7th Cir. 1997). On June 30, 2020 the district court denied the appellants motion for leave to proceed on appeal in forma pauperis. Accordingly, the appellant either pay the $505.00 filing fee in the district court or file a motion for leave to proceed on appeal in forma pauperis and a PLRA memorandum in support with this court by no later than 09/18/2020. In his memorandum, the appellant should explain why he believes the district courts denial of leave to appeal in forma pauperis was erroneous. Failure to comply with this order may result in the dismissal of this appeal. Finally, the appellant is reminded that the filing of a notice of appeal triggers the obligation to pay the appropriate filing fees. See 28 U.S.C. 1915(b). Sent Certified Mail.
