Filing 7 ORDER granting #2 Motion for Leave to Proceed in forma pauperis. Plaintiff has filed a motion seeking to proceed without prepayment of fees, costs or security therefor, which includes an affidavit regarding her current financial circumstances. See Doc. #2 . In this document, plaintiff states that she has been unemployed since 2005, and derives no income from her current self-employment at yarncatcrafts.com. See id. at 3. Plaintiff is married with a gross household income of $6,952.57 per month and no dependents. See id. at 3-4. Plaintiff has two significant mortgages on her home, and no substantial liquid assets. See id. at 3-5. Plaintiff and her husband are actively involved in a five year Chapter 13 bankruptcy repayment plan, which began on February 26, 2016. See Edward C Ostigny, Jr. and Margaret C Ostigny, No. 14-32144(AMN), Doc. #30 (Bankr. D. Conn). Plaintiff also represents that, in addition to monthly payments related to debt addressed in the bankruptcy proceeding, that she and her husband owe nearly $5,000 to medical providers. See Doc. #2 at 4-5. At this stage, such allegations are sufficient to establish that plaintiff is unable to pay the ordinary filing fees required by the Court. See 28 U.S.C. 1915(a)(1).
