October 28, 2022 Opinion or Order MINUTE ORDER. The Court is in receipt of the #12 Consent Motion to Defer Briefing on Defendant's #3 Motion to Dismiss until after a Ruling on Plaintiff's #10 Motion to Remand. This is Plaintiff's first request for an extension and Defendant consents to the extension. The motion states that "[i]n the interests of judicial economy, and to allow the parties to engage in settlement discussions, the parties request that the Court defer briefing on Defendant's Motion to Dismiss until after the Court rules on Plaintiff's Motion to Remand." The Court GRANTS the #12 Consent Motion and VACATES the deadlines set in the October 25, 2022 Minute Order. The deadlines set in the October 26, 2022 Minute Order remain; Defendant shall file a response to Plaintiff's #10 Motion to Remand by no later than NOVEMBER 15, 2022 and Plaintiff shall file a reply by no later than NOVEMBER 29, 2022.
