That Plaintiff is a resident of Florida is insufficient to support venue here against a Louisiana municipality and its police officers. Plaintiff shall show cause within ten days why this matter should not be transferred to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. The other alternative would be simply to dismiss this matter for lack of venue in the Middle District of Florida. Plaintiff may choose to opt for dismissal in Plaintiff's response, or otherwise suggest a lawful solution to this apparent mis-located venue, which response is due within ten days.
