In July 2020, Plaintiffs filed a motion to compel discovery and a motion for leave to file a Second Amended Complaint. Defendants never responded to those motions. In response to an Order to Show Cause why the motions should not be granted, on August 25, 2020, Defendants reported that the parties were engaged in settlement discussions and that a settlement should be "fully documented and signed the end of the week." [ECF No. 187]. No settlement documents were submitted. On September 23, 2020, the Court ordered the parties to submit a report on the status of the settlement. [ECF No. 189].
