Date Filed Document Text
September 9, 2019 Opinion or Order Filing 18 PAPERLESS ORDER: The Court denies #16 the Plaintiff's motion for leave to file documents under seal. The Plaintiff maintains the documents she seeks to submit are, on the one hand, an exhibit to a "Supplemental Filing to Response to Motion to Dismiss" while at the same time represent "additional facts [she] would add to [her] complaint[] if permitted leave to amend." Regarding the purported supplemental filing, the Court is aware of no such permissible filing under the Local Rules. Further, there is no pending motion for leave to amend the complaint. Accordingly, there is no basis for the documents the Plaintiff describes to be filed, sealed or unsealed. Additionally, the Court strikes #17 the Plaintiff's "NOTICE OF FILING SUPPLEMENTAL EVIDENCE IN SUPPORT OF OPPOSITION TO MOTION DISMISS." This filing is not authorized by the Local Rules nor did the Plaintiff request leave of Court to submit it. Moreover, the Court has briefly reviewed the Plaintiff's response to the Defendant's motion to dismiss and does not find the proposed information, in any event, supportive of any of the Plaintiff's arguments. Signed by Judge Robert N. Scola, Jr. (kbe)
