Filing 9 EO: On April 16, 2024, Plaintiff Dan Auapaau filed a Complaint for Review of Social Security Disability Benefits Determination. ECF No. 1. Auapaau simultaneously filed an application to proceed in forma pauperis (IFP), that is, without prepaying fees or costs. ECF No. 2. On April 17, 2024, Auapaau filed an amended IFP application. ECF No. 7. It appears that the financial information listed in the initial and amended IFP applications is the same, but the incorrect individual was named below the signature line in the initial application. See ECF Nos. 2 & 7.It also appears, however, that the initial and amended IFP applications contain the same signature. See ECF Nos. 2 & 7. Because the same signature is apparently used for two different individuals, it is unclear whether the amended IFP application was signed by Auapaau. Therefore, by April 26, 2024, Auapaau shall either (1) file a response to this EO affirming that the signature in the amended IFP application filed April 17, 2024, is his own; or (2) file a second amended IFP application with his correct signature. IT IS SO ORDERED. (JUDGE MICAH W.J. SMITH)(rls) |
