November 8, 2024 Opinion or Order TEXT ORDER: The Plaintiff's #1 Complaint fails to comply with Civil LR 40.1(E)(1) in that the caption of the document does not identify the division of this Court in which the case is pending. The Complaint also fails to comply with Civil LR 40.1(E)(2) where the basis for filing in the Peoria Division is not stated as part of the statement of jurisdiction. The Complaint's allegations do not indicate that this case arises from any of the counties within the Peoria Division. See Civil LR 40.1(A). The Plaintiff, claiming breach of contract, alleges it has a place of business in Rantoul, Champaign County, Illinois. Champaign County is within the Urbana Division of this Court. See Civil LR 40.1(D). Accordingly, the Plaintiff is ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE by 11/15/2024 why this case should not be transferred to the Urbana Division of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
