ORDER: Plaintiff may proceed on his amended complaint against Defendant Lake with respect to his claims concerning purportedly retaliatory and destructive cell searches. Plaintiff may also pursue his due process claim against Defendant Harris. However, the Court summarily dismisses all other claims and Defendants on initial review pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915A. The Court directs the Clerk to: (1) file the amended complaint [#6 ]; (2) add Counselor Harris as a Defendant; (3) terminate all Defendants except for Lake and Harris pursuant to the amended complaint, Fed. R. Civ. P. 15, and 28 U.S.C. 1915A; (4) issue summonses for service of the amended complaint on Defendants Lake and Harris; and (5) mail Plaintiff two blank USM-285 service forms, a magistrate judge consent form, filing instructions, and a copy of this order. The Court appoints the U.S. Marshal to serve Defendants. The Court advises Plaintiff that completed USM-285 forms are required for service on Defendants. Plaintiff must fill out and return the required service form or his case may be dismissed for failure to prosecute. ORDER: Plaintiff's application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #3 is granted. The Court authorizes and orders the trust fund officer at Plaintiff's place of incarceration to deduct $2.00 from Plaintiff's account for payment to the Clerk of Court as an initial partial payment of the filing fee, and to continue making monthly deductions in accordance with this order. Plaintiff's trust fund officer must collect 100% of all income into Plaintiff's trust account until accrued filing fees are paid. However, summonses shall not issue at this time. Plaintiff's complaint #1 is dismissed without prejudice. If Plaintiff wants to proceed with this lawsuit, he must submit an amended complaint limited to a single, core claim. Failure to submit an amended complaint by January 4, 2019 will result in summary dismissal of this lawsuit. The Court directs the Clerk to: (1) send a copy of this order to the trust account office at Plaintiff's place of confinement, and (2) mail Plaintiff an amended civil rights complaint forma and instructions.
