ORDER: Plaintiff has responded to the Court's April 30, 2019 Order to show cause. The order to show cause is discharged. However, Plaintiff's application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #3 is denied for an insufficient showing of indigence. Plaintiff must pay the full statutory filing fee of $400.00. Plaintiff may pay by check or money order made payable to Clerk, United States District Court. Failure to remit payment by July 16, 2019, will result in summary dismissal of this case. Plaintiff is cautioned that in the future, if he submits inaccurate IFP applications, he may be subject to sanctions including denial of IFP status or dismissal of his suit pursuant to Hoskins v. ORDER: Plaintiff's application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis ("IFP") #3 is under review. To aid the Court's review, Plaintiff must submit a written statement under oath that: (1) provides the settlement details of Case Nos. 13 C 8656 and 15 C 10530, including all information set forth below, and (2) explains why he did not disclose the settlement in his application for leave to proceed IFP if the funds were received within twelve months of filing the under-oath statement in his application for leave to proceed IFP. Failure to submit the under-oath statement by May 28, 2019, will result in dismissal of this case. Plaintiff is given permission to file his response under seal if he believes this is necessary to comply with the terms of any settlement agreement he has entered into (to do so, he should write "File Under Seal With Permission of the Court" on the top of his submission).
