Filing 12 MINUTE entry before the Honorable Edmond E. Chang: The Jurisdictional Memorandum filed as to Defendant Elite Invest LLC identifies two members, but does not identify what kind of entity the two members are. If one or both of the members are themselves LLCs, then those LLC's members in turn must be identified and their citizenships must be ascertained (and so on, if there are more LLCs who are members). Also, even if the two members are corporations, the Jurisdictional Memorandum only states their principal places of business; the States of incorporation also must be ascertained. So Elite Invest LLC shall file a complete Supplemental Jurisdictional Memorandum by 11/13/2019.Emailed notice (slb, ) |
