Fuentes: This matter having been referred to the magistrate judge for discovery supervision and settlement (doc. #20 ), the Court has reviewed the status report (doc. #18 ) and directs the parties to confer under Rule 26(f) about a discovery schedule and to file a joint written status report with a contested or agreed discovery schedule (for fact, medical fact, and expert, as contemplated) by noon on 2/28/23. The Court directs the parties to review the Court's Standing Order for Civil Cases Before Magistrate Judge Fuentes and the Top Ten Ways to Defeat Settlement, both available on the Court's website. The parties should ensure that they confer under Rule 26(f) in advance of filing of the report, and that they include in the report a proposed agreed or contested schedule for fact, and if applicable, expert discovery. If the parties become mutually interested in a settlement conference with the magistrate judge at any time, they may contact the courtroom deputy, Lauren Knight, at 312-818-6514 to initiate the scheduling.
