ORDER:Petitioner, a prisoner at the United States Penitentiary at Thomson, Illinois, has filed a 28 U.S.C. 2241 petition challenging his 1994 conviction under 18 U.S.C. 924(c) for using a firearm during the commission of a drug or violent offense. His petition cannot proceed as he has neither paid the $5.00 filing fee nor submitted an in forma pauperis (IFP) application demonstrating his inability to pay it. By March 20, 2020, petitioner must resolve the filing fee requirement, either by paying the $5.00 fee with a check or money order made payable to the Clerk of Court, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, or by submitting a completed IFP application. His failure to comply will result in summary dismissal of this case. The Clerk of Court shall send a blank IFP application form to petitioner. Signed by the Honorable Philip G.
