Filing 5 MOTION by Plaintiff Darrion O. Foote for reconsideration regarding order on motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis, #4 (Attachments: #1 Envelope)(pg, ) |
Filing 4 ORDER signed by the Honorable Philip G. Reinhard on 6/16/2021: Plaintiff's application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #3 is denied because he has struck out under 28 U.S.C. 1915(g) and his complaint does not involve imminent danger of serious physical harm. If plaintiff wants to proceed with this lawsuit, he must prepay the full statutory filing fee of $402.00. He may pay by check or money order payable to Clerk, United States District Court. He should mail payment to Clerk, United States District Court, 219 South Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois 60604, attn: Cashier's Desk. Failure to remit the filing fee by July 21, 2021, will result in dismissal of this case. Plaintiff must disclose the fact that he has accumulated three "strikes" under section 1915(g) when applying for leave to proceed in forma pauperis in any future federal lawsuits. His failure to prepay the filing fee when initiating new lawsuits (or to disclose the fact that he has "struck out" when applying for leave to proceed in forma pauperis) will result in immediate dismissal, with prejudice, of the newly filed action. See Sloan v. Lesza, 181 F.3d 857, 858-59 (7th Cir. 1999). Electronic/mailed paper notice to plaintiff. (sb, ) |
