But diversity jurisdiction requires that she allege her citizenship, which is not always the same as residency, and she is at present the only member of the putative class. Meyerson v. Harrah's E. Chicago Casino, 299 F.3d 616, 617 (7th Cir. 2002) (explaining that "residence and citizenship are not synonyms and it is the latter that matters for purposes of the diversity jurisdiction"). Thus, Plaintiff is ordered to amend the complaint by June 25, 2021, to properly allege her citizenship. (yxp, ) |
