Filing 7 ORDER GRANTING Plaintiff Latoya Helm's #4 Motion for Leave to Proceed In Forma Pauperis and #5 DEFERRING RULING on her Motion for Recruitment of Counsel. The Court is satisfied with Helm's showing of indigency and will therefore permit her to proceed in forma pauperis. But although she claims to have called local attorney offices, she does not say who or when. And the application specifically states in bold, "Describe in detail everything you have done to try to get an attorney to take your case so the judge can determine whether you have made a reasonable effort to obtain representation and attach copies of any documents which show you have tried to find an attorney." The Court will give Helm 60 days to file a renewed motion with documentation showing that she tried to find an attorney. Signed by Judge J. Phil Gilbert on 6/3/2021. (cab).
