August 25, 2022 Opinion or Order Filing 4 ORDER - Transferring Action to Northern District of Indiana; The plaintiff, Ezekiel Taylor, is an inmate currently incarcerated at Miami Correctional Facility. In this action, Mr. Taylor alleges that Judge Michael Gotsch, Sr., "has closed all of [his] complaints without allowing [him] discovery to present evidence" in violation of his First Amendment rights. Dkt. 1. These allegations relate to cases that Mr. Taylor litigated in the South Bend Division of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. Mr. Taylor's claims relate to cases he has filed in South Bend, where Magistrate Judge Gotsch presides, a substantial part of the events giving rise to the claims in this case occurred in the Northern District. Accordingly, the Court concludes that the interests of justice support transferring this case to the Northern District. Based on the foregoing, the above action is now TRANSFERRED to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana at South Bend, Indiana. Copy Mailed.
