Order Granting In Forma Pauperis Status, Screening Complaint, and Ordering Issuance and Service of Process - Plaintiff Lyman Dawson, an Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) inmate, moves for leave to proceed without prepaying fees or costs. His motion, dkt. #3 , is granted. Giving the pro se complaint the required liberal interpretation at the screening stage, the Court finds that an Eighth Amendment deliberate indifference to serious medical needs claim is stated against each named individual defendant, and against Wexford Corporation on plaintiff's policy-based claim. These claims shall proceed as plead. The clerk is directed pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(c) (3) to issue process to defendants Wexford Corporation, Dr. Paul Talbot, Health Services Administrator LaFlowers, and Nurse Samantha McAbee in the manner specified by Rule 4(d). (See Entry).
