Filing 6 FINAL JUDGMENT PURSUANT TO FED. R. CIV. PRO. 58 - The Court having this day made its Entry directing the entry of final judgment, the Court now enters FINAL JUDGMENT. Filing 5 ORDER DISMISSING COMPLAINT AS DUPLICATIVE AND DIRECTING ENTRY OF FINAL JUDGMENT - The complaint filed in this action is identical to the complaint filed in Ankh-El v. Marion County Sheriff, et al., 1:18-cv-3453-JMS-MPB on November 7, 2018. There is no reason for duplicative lawsuits which drain scarce judicial resources. Accordingly, this action is dismissed without prejudice. Because the complaints filed in each action are identical and the other complaint was filed first in time, this action is dismissed. Accordingly, the plaintiff's motion for correction of duplicate complaints, dkt. #4 , is granted. Judgment consistent with this Order shall now issue. (See Order). Copy to Menes Ankh-El via U.S. mail. Signed by Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson on 2/7/2019. (JDH) |
