ORDER DENYING WITHOUT PREJUDICE #10 MOTION FOR ASSISTANCE WITH RECRUITING COUNSEL - This matter is before the Court on Plaintiff Durell Crain's motion for assistance recruiting counsel (Dkt. #10 ) as well as a Motion to amend his motion for counsel (Dkt. #6 ), in which he explains that he inadvertently referred to two incorrect dates in his motion for counsel. Mr. Crain's motion to amend his motion for counsel, dkt. #6 , is GRANTED to the extent that the Court has reviewed his motion for counsel consistent with the minor corrections he identified in this motion. Mr. Crain's motion for counsel, dkt. #10 , is DENIED without prejudice as outlined in Part II of this Order. The clerk is directed to send Mr. Crain a blank form motion for assistance with recruiting counsel, along with his copy of this Order. Copies sent pursuant to distribution list. (See Order). ORDER DENYING #2 MOTION FOR PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION - This matter is before the Court on Plaintiff Durell T. Crain Motion for Preliminary Injunction. (Dkt. #2 ). "The court may issue a preliminary injunction only on notice to the adverse party." The Defendants here have not been served with notice of this action. Accordingly, Mr. Crain's motion for preliminary injunction, dkt. #2 , is DENIED without prejudice as premature. Once Mr. Crain has resolved the filing fee, see dkt. 5 (notice of deficiency), the Court will screen his complaint. If his claims survive screening, the Court will assist with service.
