SCHEDULING ORDER: 1) Within 14 days, parties to exchange Rule 26(a)(1) information. 2) NLT 12/30/2024 plaintiffs to disclose expert witnesses. NLT 2/10/2025 defendant to disclose expert witnesses. 3) Supplementation under Rule 26(e) shall be due w/in 30 days of discovery of new information, but NLT 30 days prior to close of discovery. 4) NLT 3/26/2025 parties to complete all discovery. 5) All discovery disputes are referred to Magistrate Judge. (See order for details). 6) All motions for extensions of time are referred to undersigned. Such motions are not favored and must be accompanied by memorandum and affidavit. 7) Parties may not, by agreement, extend any deadlines. 8) Any motions to amend and/or join parties due 12/2/2024. 9) NLT 4/25/2025 dispositive motions and Daubert motions due. 10) On or before 7/29/2025 counsel to file, submit to chambers and provide to opposing counsel: a) witness list; b) list of exhibits; c) pretrial memo. 11) On or before 7/29/2025 counsel are directed to pre-mark and number all exhibits. 12) On or before 8/5/2025 counsel to file and submit to Court Agreed Proposed Jury Instructions. 13) On or before 8/12/2025 counsel are directed to file, submit to Court and provide to opposing counsel any objections to use of depos or admissibility of exhibits. 14) Pretrial filings may be submitted to undersigned at reeves_chambers@kyed.uscourts.gov. 15) NLT 8/12/2025 parties are directed to submit to chambers a copy of each exhibit. 16) JURY TRIAL set for 8/26/2025 at 09:00 AM in COVINGTON before Judge Danny C. Reeves. Counsel to be present at 8:30 a.m. Estimated length of trial is 5 days. 17) Parties may request a pretrial conference. 18) Parties are directed to file a joint status report the first Monday of each month. 19) Parties are directed to use a private mediator if they seek to mediate their dispute. ORDER FOR MEETING AND REPORT: 1. Within thirty (30) days, counsel for the parties shall conduct the meeting of parties required by Rule 26(f) to discuss the possibilities for a prompt settlement or resolution of the case and to develop a proposed discovery plan. 2. At the time of the meeting, counsel for the parties shall exchange the disclosures required by Rule 26(a)(1) and, in the future, shall make supplemental disclosures when required by Rule 26(e). 3. Within fourteen (14) days after the meeting, counsel for the parties shall file a written joint report outlining the proposed discovery plan.
