October 7, 2019 Filing 13 District Judge Leo T. Sorokin: CLOSING ORDER DISMISSING CASE entered. The court hereby DISMISSES this action for failure to pay the filing fee as ordered in docket entry #4 Order (Simeone, Maria)
September 25, 2019 Filing 12 District Judge Leo T. Sorokin: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered. Attorney Robinson emailed the clerk requesting that this matter be dismissed. Subsequently, Attorney Robinson emailed the clerk to say he will file a motion to dismiss as well as another possible motion. The Court hereby clarifies its prior order directing Attorney Robinson to not make further filings until resolution of the filing fee issue. That order stands. Nonetheless, Attorney Robinson may seek leave to make a further filing by filing a motion for leave to file explaining, in three pages or less, the motion he wishes to file, the reasons for leave and the basis for filing prior to resolution of the filing fee issue. He shall attach to any such motion the motion or filing he seeks leave to file.(Simeone, Maria)
September 18, 2019 Filing 10 District Judge Leo T. Sorokin: ELECTRONIC ORDER entered denying #9 Motion to Expedite. The court reminds attorney Robinson that the court does not have the power to initiate an investigation. See generally In re United States, 441 F.3d 44, 58 (1st Cir 2006) (noting that "the federal courts in the American criminal justice system generally do not have the power to act as investigators or prosecutors of misconduct," and that "such powers are usually exercised by the grand jury and the executive branch."). No further filings shall be made in this case without resolution of the filing fee. (PSSA, 4)

September 17, 2019 Filing 4 District Judge Leo T. Sorokin: ORDER entered. The request for an emergency hearing is DENIED. There is nothing before the Court other than Attorney Robinson's general assertion that there is unnamed, unknown, sixteen-year-old somewhere within the United States living with her family while suffering from unspecified health problems that Attorney Robinson asserts are, in his opinion, life threatening. These unsupported, unverified allegations in the Complaint are insufficient to convene an emergency hearing.Attorney Robinson also requests the waiver of the filing fee. Doc. No. 2. That Motion is DENIED. Attorney Robinson brought this case in the name of A.M.R. Nothing before the Court establishes that A.M.R. cannot pay the filing fee; indeed, given that Attorney Robinson does not claim even to know A.M.R., the Complaint itself implicitly concedes that Attorney Robinson does not know whether she afford the filing fee. In these circumstances, and in light of the allegations of the Complaint described above, the Motion to Waive the Filing Fee (id.) is DENIED.Accordingly, Attorney Robinson shall pay the filing fee within fourteen days or this action will be dismissed without prejudice. (Montes, Mariliz)
September 16, 2019 Filing 3 ELECTRONIC NOTICE of Case Assignment. District Judge Leo T. Sorokin assigned to case. If the trial Judge issues an Order of Reference of any matter in this case to a Magistrate Judge, the matter will be transmitted to Magistrate Judge Judith G. Dein. (Danieli, Chris)
