January 6, 2025 Opinion or Order Filing 9 (Text-Only) ORDER. The Court has received Mr. Wren's #7 Motion for In-Person Service. In his motion Mr. Wren asks the Court to order that he be served with all court papers in person due to a change in the Minnesota Department of Corrections' mail policy. Mr. Wren states that he is worried that the new policy will result in his mail being lost or stolen, and thus he will miss court deadlines. But Mr. Wren asks the Court for relief based on issues that have not yet arisen. Because there is no live issue for the Court to decide, the Court DENIES Mr. Wren's motion. However, if issues arise, Mr. Wren is free to seek the appropriate relief at that time. Ordered by Magistrate Judge Douglas L. Micko on 1/6/2025. (AEF)
