December 28, 2005 Opinion or Order Filing 4 ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE - The respondent John Way is ordered to appear 2/28/2006 at 09:30 AM before Magistrate Judge Thomas D. Thalken to show cause why he should not be compelled to comply with the IRS summons served upon him on 8/2/05. A copy of this o rder, together with the petition and exhibits thereto, shall be personally served on John Way, by an official of the IRS within 30 days of the date of this order and proof of service shall be filed within 5 business days after such service upon respo ndent. Within 10 days of service of copies of this order, the petition and exhibits thereto, respondent shall file and serve a written response to the petition. If respondent complies with the summons, petitioner and respondent may jointly notify the court in writing on or before the hearing by filing a notice of compliance.
