ORDER re 24 -- While I continue to believe that attorney K.C. Okoli's conduct was sanctionable, I conclude for the reasons set forth in the attached document that the imposition of a punitive monetary fine, however modest, exceeds my authority as circumscribed by the case law of this circuit. I therefore vacate the order dated March 31, 2010, requiring him to pay a fine of $250 to the Clerk of the Court. SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENT. Ordered by Magistrate Judge James Orenstein on 4/5/2010.
