March 13, 2020 MINUTE ENTRY & ORDER for Pre-Motion Conference held before Judge Kiyo A. Matsumoto on March 13, 2020. Appearances: Michael G. Gabriel, Esq., for Plaintiffs; David F. Lisner, Esq., for Defendant. The parties discussed Defendant's proposed motion to dismiss Plaintiffs' claims for tortious interference. The Court summarized the alleged deficiencies in the complaint identified by Defendant's letter and asked Plaintiffs whether they wished to amend their complaint before proceeding to motion practice. Plaintiffs responded affirmatively. Accordingly: By April 3, 2020, Plaintiffs shall file an amended complaint. The parties will thereafter proceed to good faith settlement talks, and may seek the assistance of Magistrate Judge Sanket J. Bulsara in pursuing settlement. By May 4, 2020, the parties shall file a joint letter advising the Court of the status of their settlement efforts and how they intend to proceed.
