November 17, 2021 Opinion or Order Minute Entry and Order: A telephonic Initial Conference was held on 11/17/2021 before Magistrate Judge Taryn A. Merkl. Appearances by Bartolomeo Pittari for Plaintiff; Allison Leibowitz for Defendants. The parties represented that they have already had their Rule 26(f) conference. The parties' proposed discovery schedule is adopted, in part, as follows. The parties shall provide initial disclosures and medical authorizations by 11/25/2021. First requests for production of documents and interrogatories are due by 12/17/2021. Phase I discovery shall be completed by 1/17/2022. The deadline to join new parties or amend the pleadings is 2/16/2022. Fact discovery shall be completed by 4/4/2022. The deadline to file a status report on ECF certifying the close of fact discovery is 4/11/2022. Expert reports shall be exchanged by 5/4/2022. All discovery shall be completed by 7/15/2022. The deadline to initiate any dispositive motions is 8/22/2022, and should be done in accordance with the Individual Motion Practices and Rules of Judge Frederic Block. In lieu of setting a date for a settlement conference at this stage of the case, the parties are directed to file a joint status report by 2/1/2022 indicating whether the parties would like a referral to the EDNY mediation program or a status or settlement conference before the Court.
