Filing 42 MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER re: 26 MOTION to Certify Class Conditionally and for Court Authorized Notice, Pursuant to 29 U.S.C. 216(b). MOTION to Certify Class Conditionally and for Court Authorized Notice, Pursuant to 29 U.S.C. 216(b)< /I> filed by Casey O'Jeda, Nicole Rosinski. Accordingly, Plaintiffs' motion for conditional certification of a collective action comprised of "[a]ll current and former of Viacom Inc., MTV Networks Music Production Inc., and/or MTV Net works Enterprises Inc., engaged in an intern program from [the date three years prior to the Court's entry of an order certifying the collective action] through the present" is GRANTED. (Pls.' Mem. Law 2). The Court reserves judgment, however, on approval of Plaintiffs proposed notice and the procedures to be used in connection with the notice, as to which Defendants raise various objections. (Defs.' Mem. Law 21-22). The parties are directed to meet and confer on the languag e of the proposed notice and the proposed procedures and to jointly submit a revised version of the notice and a proposed order to the Court no later than April 25, 2014. Filing 41 MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER re: 21 MOTION to Amend/Correct filed by Casey O'Jeda and 38 MOTION to Amend/Correct the Complaint filed by Casey O'Jeda: For the reasons set forth within, Plaintiffs' first motion for leave to am end the Case Management Plan and Scheduling Order to reflect a jury trial demand is DENIED substantially for the reasons set forth in Defendants' memorandum of law in opposition to the motion. (Docket No. 29). Plaintiffs' second motion for leave to amend the Complaint to add a new Plaintiff and class action claims under California law is GRANTED as unopposed and substantially for the reasons stated in Plaintiffs' memorandum of law.
