ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE: Accordingly, Plaintiff is hereby ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE why this action should not be dismissed for failure to properly allege diversity of citizenship. A limited liability company or other unincorporated business entity is not the same as a corporation for purposes of determining citizenship. A limited liability company takes on the citizenship of each of its members. See Bayerische Landesbank, NY Branch v. Aladdin Capital Management LLC, 692 F.3d 42, 49 (2d Cir. 2012). Such showing should be made by filing a written response to this Order no later than December 23, 2022, and emailing a courtesy copy of such response to Chambers. Any failure by Plaintiff to make this showing will result in a dismissal of the case without prejudice for lack of subject matter jurisdiction pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 12(b)(1).
