In light of the parties discussion during the March 22, 2023 hearing, the undersigned has communicated with a co-United States Magistrate Judge in this district (the Honorable L. Patrick Auld) regarding assisting the parties with their efforts to settle this matter without further litigation and issues pertaining thereto. The Joint Motion (Docket Entry 52) is GRANTED IN PART to the extent that all deadlines in this matter be STAYED until April 28, 2023. The Court anticipates and will try to coordinate a joint settlement conference in this matter (in conjunction with the related civil matter discussed in the hearing) during the month of April 2023, the exact date to be determined by Judge Auld who is assisting with settlement efforts. The parties are instructed to submit, no later than Friday, March 24, 2023, a joint statement explaining the posture of this case, settlement negotiations, and the impact of the related civil matter as discussed in the hearing.
