ORDER deferring ruling on #3 Motion for Preliminary Injunction and addressing other matters. Based on the representations by the Solicitor for the City of Uniontown (PA) during the telephone status conference of this date that the Plaintiff may take the oath of office as Treasurer for the City of Uniontown at any time, and that the Council Chambers of the City of Uniontown will be made available for a formal, public installation ceremony on January 13, 2020, it would appear that the request for relief sought in this Motion will soon be moot. All further proceedings on this Motion are therefore held in abeyance pending further Order. Counsel for Plaintiff shall file a notice on the docket immediately upon the Plaintiffs taking the oath of office, and shall further do likewise on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 as to the Plaintiff participating in a formal public installation ceremony on January 13, 2020, or her electing to not do so. At that point, the Court intends to dismiss this Motion without prejudice as moot. Further, the minute entry at #8 is modified to provide that the only thing held in abeyance are the above matters.
