November 9, 2018 Opinion or Order Filing 80 ORDER. The Court could not and did not consider the content of co-plaintiff Perez's pro se motions at ECF Nos. 74, 76 and 79, inasmuch as she did not accompany said motions (which text is in Spanish) with certified English translations, as required under Local Civ. R. 5(g); see Colon-Fontanez v. Municipality of San Juan, 660 F.3d 17, 27 (1st Cir. 2011). Parties who appear pro se, even those who do so in forma pauperis, are not exempt from a claimant's responsibility to pay the expenses of litigation under applicable law. See id., Local Civ. R. 3(b)(3). Accordingly, those motions are DENIED WITHOUT PREJUDICE. Furthermore, Perez's motions at ECF Nos. 77, 78 to proceed in forma pauperis and for appointment of counsel are DENIED, given that the current case is closed in light of the judgment issued dismissing the case pursuant to the parties' settlement agreement and subsequent attorney's fees award.
