ORDER: The Court, having reviewed the docket in this case, notes that Asset Vision Logistics, LLC is not in compliance with the local-counsel requirement set out by this Court's Local Civil Rules. Local Civil Rule 83.10 requires parties in civil cases to obtain local counsel, which is defined as "a member of the bar of this court who resides or maintains the attorney's principal office in this district and whose residence or principal office is located within 50 miles of the courthouse in the division in which the case is pending." Order Requiring Scheduling Conference and Report for Contents of Scheduling Order. Lead counsel for each party (or a designee attorney with appropriate authority) and any unrepresented party (except for a prisoner litigant proceeding pro se) shall confer at a scheduling conference as soon as practicable, but in any event no later than August 12, 2020. During the scheduling conference, the parties shall consider (1) the nature and basis for their claims and defenses; (2) the possibilities for a prompt resolution of the case; (3) arrangements for the disclosures required by Fed. R. Civ. P. 2 (a)(1); and (4) preparation of the report described below. Given current health concerns, parties may conference remotely. As a result of the scheduling conference, counsel shall prepare and submit a Joint Report Regarding Contents of Scheduling Order. The Joint Report shall also include astatus report on settlement negotiations but shall not disclose settlement figures. The Joint Report shall be filed on or before August 26, 2020.
