ELECTRONIC ORDER: Plaintiff Delicia Christman recently filed a notice of attorney appearance. [Doc. No. 5]. This Court ordered plaintiff to obtain local counsel by January 8, 2022. [Doc. No. 4]. Local Rule 83.10(a) states that "'[l]ocal counsel' means a member of the bar of this court who resides or maintains the attorney's principal office in this district and whose residence or principal office is located within 50 miles of the courthouse in the division in which the case is pending." The plaintiff's newly designated counsel's office is located in Houston, Texas. He cannot serve as local counsel.
