April 3, 2025 Opinion or Order Filing 2 ORDER: Luis Castillo-Nieto has filed a motion for return of property seized by the government when he was arrested on August 18, 2021. The Clerk is directed to terminate the motion in the criminal case and open a new civil action against United States under 28 U.S.C. 1331 (nature of suit code 540) with direct assignment to the undersigned. The motion for return of property shall be filed as a civil complaint in the new case along with a copy of this order. All futurefilings related to the motion will be made in the civil case.
