MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER granting in part and denying in part plaintiffs' 4 MOTION for Preliminary Injunction. The court hereby enjoins the defendants from separating students into single-sex classes at Van Devender Middle School for the remainder of the 2012-13 school year, and unless and until any single-sex program offered meets the requirements of the constitution and Title IX, in particular the Department of Education regulations as interpreted by the court today. This injunction will take effect at the beginning of the school day on Monday, September 3, 2012. Signed by Judge Joseph R. Goodwin on 8/29/2012.
