Snyder, to show cause why ADVANCED CLEANUP TECHNOLOGIES, INC. should not be found to be in Contempt of Court and compelled by all lawful means to obey the Court Order filed in this action on 8/15/2017. IT IS HEREBY FURTHER ORDERED that a copy of this Order to Show Cause, together with a copy of the Order filed 8/15/2017, shall be served upon RUBEN GARCIA by any means of service permitted b y Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(e) unless such service cannot be made despite reasonable efforts. BATRIZ d/b/a CMB PROFESSIONAL SERVICES HAS NO LIEN AGAINST THE RECOVERY IN THIS ACTION by Judge Christina A. Snyder: Cuda and Batriz's liens arise fr om state court actions that are factually unrelated to the underlying action between ACT and BP. Therefore, they are not part of the same case or controversy as the underlying action, and this Court does not have supplemental jurisdiction over Cuda and Batriz's state law claims. Cuda Enterprises, Inc.'s motion seeking a determination that claimant Batriz has no lien against the recovery in this action 66 is, therefore, DENIED. Court Reporter: Not Present. (gk)
