MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS by Judge Percy Anderson: The Court is in receipt of the Complaint filed by plaintiffs United Parcel Service, Inc. and United Parcel Service France S.N.C. against Defendants Doremi Labs, Inc., Doremi Technologies, LLC, Dolby Laboratories, Inc., Dagmar Dolby, Camille Rizko, Emil Rizko, and Safar Ghazal. Plaintiffs' Complaint contains no adequate statement of the grounds for this Court's jurisdiction. Despite these deficiencies, a district court may, and should, grant leave to amend when it appears that subject matter jurisdiction may exist, even though the complaint inad equately alleges jurisdiction. Therefore, the Court grants Plaintiffs leave to amend the Complaint to attempt to establish federal subject matter jurisdiction. Plaintiffs' First Amended Complaint, if any, is to be filed by October 23, 2015. The failure to file a First Amended Complaint by that date may result in the dismissal of this action without prejudice. (smo)
